Cheese Sauce (Potato based)
2 cups potatoes (360 g), peeled and diced
1 cup carrots (135 g), peeled and diced
1/2 cup water + additional to get desired consistancy
3/4 cup nutritional yeast (35 g)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Boil carrots and potatoes for at least 20 minutes and soft. If you undercook the carrots the cheese sauce will taste like carrots (that’s a bad thing). Drain and add to high powered blender.
Add only half the water (use additional to get to desired consistency as you blend).
Add remaining ingredients.
NOTE *** Salt, I add this at the end to get desired flavor.
